Members of the Eyot Centre Canoe, Thames Rescue and Dragonboating sections acted as safety cover for "The Henley Swim", in the very early hours of Sunday 28th June 2009.This race has become an annual event. The race is held on the famous Henley reach of the river Thames and competitors swim the length of the Royal Regatta course. Entries were doubled this year to a staggering 180 competitors, amazing to watch, as there is a mass start and swimmers jostle for position. My thanks to all Centre members who helped this year. Well done.Pete Holloway
